The Time Staircase

The Time Stairs is a new permanent exhibition space in the escalator of the Markthal with the archaeological finds that have been excavated in the construction pit.

Literally move through time on an escalator and experience the history of Rotterdam in images, sound and original objects. Each floor represents an earlier period in the city's history and brings you closer to the origins of Rotterdam.
