Fort K'IJK

In 2017, the restoration of the old Fort at Krommeniedijk was completed, and the old visitors center made way for a completely renovated experience center. 

In the renovated Fort K'IJK, you can experience the fort's history through audiovisual means. Follow the line of defense and learn about various topics such as flooding, the rare nature surrounding the fort, and discover the building's secrets. Kloosterboer Decor designed the interior of the visitor center, including the interactive experience that takes you through the various rooms and the landscape.
