Enchanted by GOLD - Wereldmuseum Leiden
The new exhibition "Enchanted by GOLD" has opened at the Wereld Museum Leiden. This exhibition highlights the unique relationship between humans and the material.
Gold. The symbol of power, wealth, and spirituality, but also of greed, division, and destruction. In seven fascinating and sometimes confronting spaces, visitors experience how this eternal element, born from stardust, has driven people to extremes throughout history and across the globe.
This is the first time that the World Museum is showcasing such an extensive collection of golden objects, including 10 crowns from the Dutch Royal Family, supplemented with rare items from important national and international collections.
Kloosterboer is responsible for the construction of the exhibition.
