Museum Kinderdorp Neerbosch
The former Van 't Lindenhout Museum has undergone a complete transformation, with a renewed interior and a new name: Museum Kinderdorp Neerbosch. This museum tells the unique story of Kinderdorp Neerbosch and the children who lived there from 1863 to 2000.
During the renovation, the permanent exhibits on the ground floor, the gallery, and in the basement were completely renewed, with the children’s stories placed at the heart of the design. The historic building has also been made more sustainable and accessible.
In collaboration with designers Studio Ilona Laurijsse & Maaike Stevens, Kloosterboer Decor had the opportunity to realize the construction of the museum’s interior. In addition to the construction, we installed the lighting design and audiovisual presentations to bring the stories even more vividly to life.
